Did anyone or is anyone wearing flats on their wedding day instead of high heels?

I heard so many stories about the bride's feet hurting the day of the wedding because of their shoes, and I really want to be comfortable. I'm just not sure how it would look wearing flats. I'm also having my fitting done soon and I have to bring my shoes with me. If you were flats for on your...

If you were flats for on your weeding, can you attach a pic below?

I am 5'9. I plan on wearing flats but may get some nice slippers for under my dress that look like flats. It's a long day

I LOVE fringe so I am wearing these! Not to mention FH is not too much taller than I am, so flats work perfect!

I have issues with my back so I can't wear heels for very long. So I'm wearing sandals, we're getting married outside in the middle of August and my feet will swell. The sandals won't hurt, will be comfy and I can take them with us on our honeymoon.

I'm not wearing heels, however, I haven't chosen the shoes I want to wear yet. My fiancé isn't too much taller than me, and I have never worn heels before anyways, so it would be out of my comfort zone!

I'm wearing sandals I found them at dsw. I really wanted to wear heels but the dress I bought only came in 2 different lengths and if I wear heels it would make the dress look too short

Flats for me. Cute comfy white lace ones. I have never been able to walk in heels and didn't feel like falling on my face walking down the aisle.

I'm wearing flats, it was never an option for anything else I look like a new born calf trying to walk when I am in heels so that was an absolute no go. Flats are my go to shoe anyway so it only made sense that I would wear them on my wedding day.

Be comfortable. Detail shoe shots are super cute but it pales in comparison with a smiling Bride! 90% of my Brides wear flats. Even if they are wearing high heels, most of the time the gown is covering the shoe.

I'm wearing dance shoes with a 2" heel--I have a pair that I bought for our dancing lessons and they're really comfortable. I can't wear really high heels--I have no arches. I'm considering getting some kind of really comfy flats for late in the evening in case my feet rebel at wearing heels--I rarely wear them.

I am definitely wearing a pretty pair of flats. Between a staircase for the big entrance, an outdoor ceremony, and being an all around klutz i decided on comfort Smiley smile

I wore a pair of white flats, but before I even got to those, I wore my bridal slippers post ceremony through pics and the first part of the reception. No one could see my feet except in some of the pics where my brothers were holding me. I even took a silly pic of me holding my dress up with my slippers on in the middle of the desert.
