Did anyone or is anyone wearing flats on their wedding day instead of high heels?

I heard so many stories about the bride's feet hurting the day of the wedding because of their shoes, and I really want to be comfortable. I'm just not sure how it would look wearing flats. I'm also having my fitting done soon and I have to bring my shoes with me. If you were flats for on your...

I heard so many stories about the bride's feet hurting the day of the wedding because of their shoes, and I really want to be comfortable. I'm just not sure how it would look wearing flats. I'm also having my fitting done soon and I have to bring my shoes with me.

If you were flats for on your weeding, can you attach a pic below?

I'm wearing flats. I don't have a pic but they are silver and sparkly. Comfort is important.

I wore flats on my wedding day. I wanted to be comfortable. By the end of the night my feet were hurting anyways cause of I had literally been standing all day.

These are the shoes I wore. I wish I had worn them in before the wedding, but they were still more comfortable than heals. My shoes weren't really visible under my dress.

I have scoliosis, so heels are very difficult for me. We are getting married on a cruise too, so a lot of walking around the ship. I will be wearing white converse with Swarovski crystals on the toe.

I did. My feet hurt with my shoes just after pictures/ceremony. I'm glad I had flats to change in to.

I'm wearing rainbows. We went for a more casual feeling and FH and I will both wear sandals. It also helped that not wearing heels meant I didn't have to buy a dress with extra length and then have to get it hemmed.

When I was married the first time , I wore ballerina flats with satin ribbons that laced up my legs... It looked REALLY cute!!! I danced all night long with no problems...

THIS time I may wear a wedge, )it makes me walk a little taller ) but DEFINITELY switching to flats for reception...

I'm getting married in January. I have a go-to pair of super low nude heels I'm going to wear for the church. I ordered crystal shoe clips and I'm going to paint the soles blue to jazz them up. I have winter boots for outdoor pictures, and Kate Spade glitter sneakers for the reception

Cowgirl boots definitely so comfortable. I want to be comfortable than be miserable. I'd recommend flat.

Haven't had mine yet, but I plan to wear heels only for the Ceremony and photos. After that, I've got a pair of dainty flats I'm gonna wear during the reception. But, like Tracie said, Do what makes you comfortable! It's your day!
