Did anyone or is anyone wearing flats on their wedding day instead of high heels?

I heard so many stories about the bride's feet hurting the day of the wedding because of their shoes, and I really want to be comfortable. I'm just not sure how it would look wearing flats. I'm also having my fitting done soon and I have to bring my shoes with me. If you were flats for on your...

If you were flats for on your weeding, can you attach a pic below?

My wedding isn't for a while, but I am set on flats (currently loving the navy glitter Keds by Kate Spade). FH is only about three inches taller than me, and all of the guys he has picked for groomsmen are way taller than he is. I wore (very tall) wedges in a friend's wedding last weekend and regretted every minute. Obviously if you are an elegant gazelle with feet of steel, go for it! If you're a normal, super klutzy, human like me I would avoid it.

I wore the same as @Hadley and then wore "Bride" flip flops. Totally was worth it!

I believe I am I really want to wear heels (since I wear them all the time ) but wearing heels would mean I'd be taller than my FH and even tho he doesn't mind he prefers me shorter so I'MA go with super sparkly flats

I don't have a pic of my shoes yet, but I'm an inch taller than my FH & it's all outdoors so I'm doing gladiator sandals for the ceremony. I personally think comfort is the most important thing for your day!

I am wearing Van's. I figured that I am going to be on my feet for almost 8 hours, wearing a ball gown! No one is going to see my feet and why should I be uncomfortable on my big day Smiley smile

    Good luck and congrats!

These are (currently) my planned shoes. The heels are for the ceremony only because I like how heels make you walk with better posture. The flats are for the reception because I have foot problems and can't do heels for long. I got both from David's Bridal and I love them!! The flats are a rose gold color and the crystals are clear and aurora borealis clear crystals, so SUPER sparkly!!!

I'm wearing jeweled sandals. We're doing pictures on the beach so it just makes sense. Also if I wanted to wear heels I would've had to pay extra money to have extra length added to my dress.

Wear flats, if you want pretty heels get them and just wear them for pictures or for the "garter grab" then put your flats back on. Have your dress altered with the flats on, close up pics of the shoes or you sitting for the "garter grab" the hem length won't matter!

Still looking for some cute flats to wear under dress. FH is only an inch taller so heels is a no go. Besides, I cant really dance in heels anyway Smiley winking

I wore fabulous Aldo sandals with diamonds under my dress. Unfortunately, due to health I could not stand as long as I would have liked. So we made sure straight to the point ceremony with shoes I could handle.

I wore Sketcher's Shapeups, I needed height (6'4 hubby, 5'1 bride....) but comfort ( I'd torn my calf 2 months before and literally stopped using the cane and walking boot 2 weeks before the wedding) everyone loved them, I was proud to show them off and they were super cute! I felt NO pain all day and night and the next day? Perfectly fine. Win/win!

I am opting to wear flats but it is SO hard to find pretty ones! I am a very DIY type bride so I am going with satin closed toe flats with a ribbon around the ankle, and having my sister help design/attach crystals with lace to the toe of the shoe.
