Did anyone or is anyone wearing flats on their wedding day instead of high heels?

I heard so many stories about the bride's feet hurting the day of the wedding because of their shoes, and I really want to be comfortable. I'm just not sure how it would look wearing flats. I'm also having my fitting done soon and I have to bring my shoes with me. If you were flats for on your...

If you were flats for on your weeding, can you attach a pic below?

I am only 5 feet tall so I always wear heels but I also love heels. But for my wedding, I'm leaning towards an ivory wedge from David's Bridal called Panna for the ceremony and pictures and as long as I can at the reception but will probably buy a pair of pretty flats just in case. I am a little worried about my dress dragging and getting really dirty at the reception if I change into flats though since my dress will be hemmed to the length of me in the wedges.....

I was just in a friends wedding, she had a ball gown that wasnt overly poofy and she wore flats since her hubby is the same height. It looked great, she wore lacey flats so they were still dressy. I was a bridesmaid and wore heels during the ceremony and flats to the reception and no one ever noticed....but they were both nude patent

I've been planning to wear these, if I can get my mom and aunt to stop telling me I need "real shoes". It's outdoors!

I'm wearing flats! I got some custom made ballet slippers and I hope they are as comfortable as they seem to be now.

Flats hurt my feet more than heels but I'm also very short. The way I look at it is if someone is looking at my feet and not at me then they have a problem.

Be comfortable on your wedding day!!!!

Wear what you will be comfortable in! Personally, I am not good in heels. This thread just made me feel SO much better about my decision to wear flats, so thank you!!!

@ Hadley, those are very cute! Where did you find them?

Do it your way. If you want to wear flats GO for it. My feet were sore but platform heels help a lot, so does the adrenaline of the day, I didn't even feel it until afterwards.

No heels for me! Partially because my feet will kill me after a couple hours in heels...and mostly because my FH is only about 2 inches taller than me. It doesn't bother him for me to be the taller one in heels, but for pictures I don't want that!

I'm a sucker for heels, so I'll probably wear them for the ceremony and pictures, then switch to flats for the reception

I'm wearing heels to walk down the aisle, take pictures, and do the garter toss. The rest of the time I am wearing sandals! I am too much of a klutz, and heels hurt my feet after two hours max to wear them all day and night. IDK how some women do it!

My FH is on the shorter side, only a couple of inches taller and since my foot injury I can't wear heels so I am thinking of blinged converses!
