Did anyone skip boutonnieres and corsages?

We aren't doing them. Not our style.

I ordered both my boutonnieres and corsages off eBay and the boutonnieres were 77 cents a piece and the corsages 1.50. They are fake, but they are beautiful and I know my family won't mind them being fake (:

I'm skipping them but am buying something they can keep instead. Moms are getting necklaces, dads are getting cuff links, etc;

I can't see their absence affecting pictures at all. We need a ton of corsages and boutonnières too and it seems like a silly expense, but we are still doing them. I think it's personal preference.

I'm doing them but they're going to be gold spray painted baby's breath. Super cheap

The only bout we are having is FH's. Skipping all corsages. The list was spiraling out of control.

Def not doing the bouts. FH doesnt want them and theyre not worth an arguement to me haha. Havent decided on corsages yet. May just defer to what my Mom and FMIL feel about them idk.

Yup. Unneeded. Only flowers at my wedding will be the bouqets and they are gonna be fake.

Going into budgeting I knew flowers werent important to us.

They aren't necessarily needed. I haven't seen many of the grandparents and parents at the weddings that I've been to wear them.

We had a bout only for my son, who was in the wedding party. There were no corsages.

I'm soooo glad to hear all you say this. I was stressing about this too! And just today expressed my concerns to my sister and she said what all of you are saying: not needed. Cuz yeah, out of control is a good way to describe that list. So yay! Thanks ladies. Stress relieved.

I had them at my first wedding because they were important to my ex. Will probably skip them this time.

We are so skipping them. I always thought of them as a waist. The guys take off the coats and the others end up taking the pin off since they get poked.
