My fiancé got down on one knee to propose. It wasn't a fancy or elaborate proposal, but it evidently was important to him to get into "proper position" which was cute and a little unexpected lol. Afterward people asked me how he did it obviously and wanted to know if he got down on one knee. When I said yes, everyone was like "awwwwwww" and i found it odd, because I thought it was the norm to get down on one knee. Lol. Then I learned that a lot of people don't do it any more? Idk.
