Did you announce your engagement on social media?

My BFFs announces it for us . Once I got engaged , my notifications blew up and I just knew someone posted it. We didn’t mind though . We were just so caught up in the moment, an announcement or phone wasn’t even on our minds.

We announced it on social media 3 days after he proposed. We wanted time to tell our close friends and family, as well I just soak it in!

Well the proposal happened on thanksgiving in the middle of everyone going one by one saying what we were thankful for his turn came and wallah i'm engaged ... our hashtag is #FromDMs2iDos we annouced it on Facebook and IG with the video.

My proposal was announced on social media after out families were notified. We still waited about 5 or 6 days before we posted.

My now fiancé included our parents and siblings to play a part in the proposal, on November 25,2018. We cried that entire evening talking about our future, he posted the news on Facebook and Instagram that same night. I announced it on social media the very next day.

My fiancé and I got engaged on our Carnival Sunshine cruise in Grank Turk on June 14th, 2018. Our family that were on the cruise with us knew of course. When we got home we call our close friends and family to tell them our big news! We were still in our glory and didn’t want to share it on social media until exactly a week after we got engaged. We were in awe and wanted to keep it private and special between us and family for a bit until we posted the news! #JustSaidYes

My fiance posted it on social media that same day..

My fiance had just graduated from the police academy so a lot of his family was there along with mine. He took it as a good time to pop the question. Needless to say, there were tons of videos all over social media announcing it for us haha.

We got engaged on Christmas eve 2017 and anounced it on social media the next day on Christmas morning 2017

My fiancé and I were in the Dominican Republic celebrating my cousin’s 25th wedding anniversary so a lot of my family were already there and a few of his close family too (our moms are best friends, which is how we met). He proposed during a romantic dinner on the beach with just the 2 of us and a professional photographer and then we celebrated with everyone there that night. We announced on social media (with the pics attached) the next day after we had texted and called our friends back home first.

We announced on Social Media the same day, simply with this picture and #shesaidyes!
I was actually wanting to wait a few days just to keep it as something for myself and like a special secret, but my FH wanted to share with close family right away, and we decided to just tell everyone all at once!

Just got engaged on NYE.

Our friends sent video and pictures to those absent, and we called our parents right away.

We waited almost a month before putting it on social media.
It wasnt until my future MIL was like heeeeeey are you guy ever going to post something that we were finally like oh yeah we should probably do that
