Did you announce your engagement on social media?

The first thing we did (on Thanksgiving) after we got engaged is call all of our family and friends! We waited at least one day to announce it on social to make sure we spoke to everyone in our direct family and friendship circle first.

We posted the same night we got engaged! We had been dating for 5.5 years...

Still can't believe it, but Taylor Swift posted it on HER social media the night it happened! Almost six months later and I still cannot put the feeling into words! We did share with our close family and friends before anything was on social media!

We posted on social media the following day after telling our close friends and family first. He proposed at Disney World at Epcot where we first met. We used to work there on an internship.

We announced it later that night after close friends and family were notified. We love our dog so much, so we let her do the honors in telling everyone else on Facebook.

Yess told my mom and his mom first before posting and then a couple days later I posted this on insta he proposed to me during a sunset in Maui the next morning we got up super early to see the sunrise at this lookout spot and this is the photo I posted!

My fiancé and I don’t use social media so we announced it by sending out invitations to our engagement party. The invitations were super cute and shaped like a ring. My family was so excited, I received tons of texts and calls after they were sent out.

We announced it a few hours after, all of our closest family and friends were there when he popped the question. 💜

We told close friends that night by texting the attached photo. Told our family in person a few days later because we were out of town and had to wait until we got back. After that we did the official Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat announcement for everyone else.

Odd one out here. We didn't announce it on social media just told friends and family.

We announced it with our photos from oir engagement shoot on social media almost 2 months after, I wanted my close friends and family to know first.

Well, he had almost all of both our immediate families there, (one sister had work) and surprised me with them, so I didnt have to announce to them, lol. And his parents had an engagement party cookout all set up for that night. I posted on Facebook about two hours after the fact. Had to message my now maid of honor first!!
