We announced it 3 days later, once we got to see both sides of my family to announce it to them! (Christmas!)

We announced the next evening, after all our close family members knew.

After we got engaged, we only shared it with our closed family and friends.

We announced on social media the day after. This gave us time to call all of our close friends and family and to get the professional pictures.

We waited until we told his mom in person then announced it on social media. I didn’t want close friends and family to know that we were getting married by Facebook and wanted them to hear first hand.

We posted this later on that afternoon. We got engaged during brunch. We only posted that on Snapchat which we don’t really use or have many people on but we kept Facebook and Instagram off for a while. I’m not if we ever made an official post on either of those sites. Our best friends were there and we other than them we kept it to ourselves until we saw our families like that next weekend.

It wasn't fancy, I was in pjs on the 22nd of December. Random, but I said yes. Posted right away.

We announced on social media three months later. We just told very close family and friends and enjoyed being engaged before the craziness and the questions started.

I see a common theme here....lol. We announced on FB after I psycho texted all of our family and close friends. We were in Vegas and they were 2 hours ahead so it was like midnight when their phones started going off.

He told me I couldn’t open my gifts until Christmas Day. I stayed up all night- at 12:00 am I told him to open his gifts. He opened them, and then we cleaned up the gifts and he told me to open mine. He video taped me opening them, and got down on one knee as I was opening a beautiful snowman ornament that said ‘will you marry me?’ On the bottom of it. After two and a half years I am so blessed to be engaged to my best friend! 💕
