We haven't sent anything out yet, but we are building our list. It keeps shrinking, which makes me worried about people's feelings like this, but it's honestly what we can afford to do...sorry friends Smiley sad

We haven't sent out invites yet, but we do have our unofficial guest list made up and on a few occasions were like, "oh crap! We almost forgot about so-and-so!"

Lol yes! I forgot my great-grandparents, my uncle and one of my cousins! I also forgot some close friends. I was so focused on the out of state list that I forgot about some of my family members lol

No, we made a guest list and double-checked how many invitations we need. No one's forgotten and RSVPs are on their way back to us!

I'm innocent. It's my blabbermouth gramma who isn't!

She talked on and on and on about the wedding with a part of the family I'm not close to as though they were invited. It's my grandma's niece and her daughter, who I've seen all of three times in my life. Her rationale was that she got invited to one of her niece's daughter's weddings, so her niece and daughter should get invited to mine? Not sure I completely follow that logic!

We had consciously decided they weren't invited. I had spoken about it with my mother. But I love and adore my grandmother. She was a second mom to me and she is so excited to see me get married. I didn't want to cause her any strife.

So I had to zip out two emergency invites this morning. Oops.

We had a family of four decline, so inviting three more people isn't that big of a deal.

Edit: Oh! I just remember that I am guilty! I forgot a distant aunt of mine, but I did remember her BEFORE the invites were made/stuffed/sent, so no harm, no foul!

Innocent. We only invited 50 people, and it was mostly family and close friends. Coworkers keep bugging me (9 months later) that I didn't invite them, but it was a small wedding for a reason and I didn't want to think about work at my wedding eww

Actually wait - Well, we didn't invite them on purpose, but we went to my husband's grandma's memorial service a few months before the wedding and one of her brother's wives invited herself..

Innocent, we are making our guests list and due to the venue size some will not receive an invitation and his grown daughters will not receive an invitation due to all the drama and attitude they have since I not letting them be a part of my bridal party as my bridesmaids.

Guilty-ish. On our initial guest list I definitely forgot a few people. My bad.

But what's important is I remembered as we were finalizing and prepping RSVP cards.
