Did you go into debt for your wedding?

Omg I worked about 75hrs/week and I nearly killed myself. Me and FH have our wedding paid off in full and I still have plenty of time to spare. What a relief!! Did you pay yours off with cash, card, loan?

We used excess financial aid, so technically yes. otherwise we would have not been able to afford anything over 3k, and even that would have been a stretch.

Congratulations, Niecey-- that is fantastic! we didn't go into debt-- my dad chipped in a big chunk, we kept it simple and covered the rest.

Cash is king. No debt. We paid as we planned and it works for us.

We are paying with a CC for the points. However, we only charge what we have in cash. So far, we have $50k saved. Once we're able to start booking, we'll be ready.

No debt here. Parents are kicking in some money, and I budgeted from our incomes for the rest. Picking up overtime when I can, and that makes me feel more comfortable with wedding expenses and not having to scrimp. I feel very blessed to be in that position.

I had a 401K loan that I was already paying off. I quadrupled the payments to pay it off early, so I could take out another loan. I would have been in debt either way, and this way I get the wedding of my dreams. Plus, I just got a raise and realized that I can be debt free in three years anyway (minus my mortgage), so why not?

Not going into debt for one day . We are paying as we go and having a budget friendly wedding and reception with the help of my sisters.

We were going to take out a loan and I am so glad we didn't. We are paying as we go with cash the only thing we used a CC for was the deposit on the venue which we are already paying off since the CC has 12 months no interest. Other than that we have enough debt as it is and were not planning to get into anymore, also our family is helping us not with much but something.
