Did you have a photo booth?

We are over our budget and looking to cut back somewhere. What are some pros and cons that you can share about having a photo booth? Or maybe an alternative?

We are only having about 28 guests, so we'll have a DIY photo booth. I actually purchased some vintage Polaroid cameras and a ton of film, and the photo booth will be set up in front of the ceremony backdrop after the seats are broken down. I thought it would be a fun little add-on, and who doesn't love Polaroid pictures?!

ETA: We figured people can take a Polaroid home as a memento, and leave one for our guestbook.

Try Thumbtack (an app) for a cheaper photo booth rate!

We're skipping it but bought a few quality selfie sticks instead! We'll have a hashtag and Snapchat filters and people can snap away to their hearts content.

People LOVE photobooths. They really are a lot of fun. I recommend having them. I've enjoyed the wedding more when there has been a Photobooth

We are going to have one because I think our guests will enjoy it, but to be honest, I don't want them, I always feel like they look ugly and take away from everything. Not the photos, the photos always looks great, I mean the actual booth and setup.

If your over budget, I'd cut that first. I'm at budget but I've written it down as a wishlist item. I really enjoyed photobooths at The weddings and parties I've attended that had them

They're definitely fun, I've always taken advantage of them when they're at a wedding, but I most certainly would not frown upon a wedding that didn't have one.

We thought about getting one, but our guests are a mix of people that will leave after dinner, and people they will be on the dancefloor with a drink in their hand until the music stops. For us, it was an easy decision to skip it.

We had a photo booth and everyone young and old LOVED it!! Our guests were lining up to take photos throughout the entire night. It was also great having the photo booth to keep everyone busy and entertained during times we stepped away to take photos.

We don't have a Photobooth. We did a hashtag and people can post pictures. Plus it takes away from the dancing and I didn't want to be pulled in there to take photos all night

We didn't--i think they're just not popular where i am, i've never been to a wedding that had one! i've been to a couple that had "selfie stations" with selfie sticks and some props, which seems like a cheaper alternative
