Did you help pick your ring?

We went together to pick one out of the blue (to me lol)! I had no clue and FH was looking at the cases and found this one and knew it was it. The jeweler pulled it out and I fell in love 😍 but I would have loved anything he got me. He then proposed when we got home 😊❤️ We’ve been together for 6 years at this point so I didn’t need the large formality. 🥰

He surprised me on my Birthday I had no idea and he included my kids.

I had no clue he was going to propose. So I had no say in my ring. Its soooo perfect and amazing. And it's not something I would have chosen for myself - I would have picked something smaller because I'm frugal. But I absolutely LOVE my rings.

I was surprised with the proposal and the ring. I genuinely had no idea!

I actually helped pick my ring and helped pay for it too. My fiancé didn’t go into details about price or anything, he just said he wanted to get me the perfect ring.

I gave him ideas and suggestions, but told him actually picking my ring was on him. I felt that not only would it mean more to me if he put his heart into picking it, but also that by the time he proposed he obviously knew me well enough to know what I liked. All I told him was that I wanted some color in it, and I prefer lab created stones.

I helped pick it out and customize the design, we opted for a non traditional aquamarine stone and I just love it!

FH let me pick out both of our rings and after sharing the pics (I’ve actually found a few designs and one of the sets will serve as backups in the event we somehow lose them), he said ok to them and I went ahead and bought them. Ironically I’ve found all of our rings (including the backups) on wish.com for a few dollars and they’ve been good quality considering how little I paid for them.

My fiancé and I designed ours together! He wanted me to have something I loved. He said if I hadn’t been involved, we would’ve ended up with a solitaire diamond, which I’m sure I would’ve loved but it’s very different from what we ended up with!

My ring!

My ring was a complete surprise. Before we got engaged, he asked me what styles I liked. He also admitted to checking out my Pinterest account to see what kind of styles I liked. Zales released a Disney Enchanted collection. We are huge Disney fans. When I first saw it, I kept looking at the Tinker Bell ring. I like how simple yet classy it was. There are a lot of cute details in it and I just loved it. I never mentioned it though. My fiance went shopping for my ring this past May with his mom. They looked at a ton of rings but he said he kept asking to see the Tinker Bell ring. He said there was just something about it that kept drawing him to it. It was so weird because I never told him how I felt there was something about it as well. I LOVE my ring and I love that we were both in love with it without even talking about it.

Although he told me after that he paid attention when we were helping a friend ring shop....TWO YEARS AGO.

but I am totally in love with my ring and wouldn't trade it for anything else 😍
