Did you help pick your ring?

My fiancé picked my diamond out by himself (with lots of help from my cousin, who is a certified gemologist) and went to the same jeweler my mom’s engagement ring is from. We’re high school sweethearts and had been together for 10 years when we got engaged, so I wasn’t shy in sharing exactly what I wanted my ring to look like when the time came

I did not choose my ring at all. But my fiancé did ask me to go to a couple of jewelry shops to gain an idea of what I liked. I don’t hint to him one time the ring I really loved. But when I tell you my fiancé knows me and he surely was paying more attention to my gestures that I thought! I honestly told him whatever ring you decide I’m ok with it. I will be happy either way because it’s coming from the heart and it’s coming from my Lovey! But man he chose the ring that I was like it reminds me of my grandmothers old ring. My grandmother gave me one of her rings before she passed away. The ring she gave me was worn everyday with all of her kids birthstones in it! So when I tell you my hubby-to-be hit home in every way I truly mean that!

I helped pick mine. I gave ideas of my style online thankfully because he liked solataire rings, but I love halo rings.

I helped picked mine, my now fiancé proposed to me when we were on vacation in Maui during a sunset dinner cruise it was so romantic. He used a cute turtle ring as a place holder and when we got back went to Kays together and let me pick one out and made sure I LOVE it and I am so in love with it.

We had been looking online at different ideas I sent her multiple different styles but we both loved this one because it was three stones and three of us in Our family!! I love It!

So we had actually discussed engagement rings before he popped the question. I had NO CLUE what style I would like but was pretty set on the idea of princess cut. He always said a 3 stone would look perfect on my finger. Well that's exactly what he got me and he was absolutely right! The best part...after he said 3-stone I went looking online and the ring that I fell in love with...WAS THE RING HE PICKED! Call it creepy or meant to be but that man sure does know me better than I give him credit for. Cannot wait to marry him!

I 100% picked mine out.

We've done everything out of order and unconventionally. We're not even *technically* engaged yet and our wedding is just over 100 days away. But we own a home together and booked our venue over a year ago.

We had so much drama with our ring. Apparently I'm super picky in that I wanted something relatively simple! It's so hard to find a halo on a plain band. Forget on a plain, thicker band. We went down the custom route with two different jewelers who lost our special orders/wish lists. We got a 3rd quote too, but eventually decided to go with this one from Charles & Colvard. The band is still a bit thinner than I'd like, but I think with the wedding band, it should be a bit more robust!

Because our timeline got so screwed up, we're actually doing a proposal/engagement shoot all in one--this Friday!! I'm getting proposed to in two days! It won't be a surprise, but it'll be so special to have pictures of it.

I can't wait to have to get used to wearing this all the time!
