Did you pick your ring or were you completely surprised?

We had gone out shopping previously, however never found anything that we liked.. He found this ring on his own and surprised me on Valentine's Day

My engagement ring was a complete surprise. I knew my fiance was taking his grandma's ring in to fix it up to give me, but I had no clue what it looked like. I also didn't know when he was going to ask me to marry him. The main diamond is out of his grandma's ring and the ring was designed to look like her ring. The other four diamonds from his grandma's ring is in my wedding band. 💗

I was completely surprised, My fiancé did a amazing job picking out my engagement ring. He did ask my bestfriend what style I liked which is princess cut

We went together to pick out a PROMISE ring, lol. Then he decided he was going to ask, beg and plead me to go ahead and say yes, lol. We thought about getting an engagement ring, but decided this would be my engagement ring.

Your ring is gorgeous! I got to design mine with the bridal set! I found a ring I loved in an antique shop in another country so I redesigned it a bit! I love having a unique ring.

FH managed to have me choose my own 💍, by asking me to give him an idea of what I like. After looking at different ones with him and my Mom the next thing I know he’s at the register. Thankfully, the ring stayed in the store and I had no idea when he picked it up or planned to propose. Then he popped the question more than a month later when I least expected it. It was beautiful!!!

I definitely picked mine out! There were a lot of details that I wanted in the ring I'd wear forever!

We went shopping a couple weeks before our anniversary together and I picked out two that I really loved. Then he surprised me on our trip to Mexico with it! 💕

I picked both my engagement ring and my wedding ring. Ive gotten so many compliments over the last two years on my engagement ring. Me and my FS have matching wedding rings. They're both so pretty

My fiance and I picked our engagement rings.
They are a plain symple band with eachothers names and date he asked me to marry him engraved in out rings.

We went shopping for wedding rings and I picked out a few that I thought I loved. But the ring I have (which I love) is completely different. I was very surprised.

Months before he asked me we went to look at rings. I picked out 3 that I liked and 1 that I loved. He got the one I loved!!

I was completely surprised! He did so good. I’m glad I wasn’t part of the build process as I wouldn’t have designed what he did. It turned out gorgeous!
