Did You Preserve Your Flowers? 1
I just let my bouquet, and hubby's boutonniere dry out. The bouquet was so lovely, I couldn't part with it. The roses were off white and look better than the photo. I also dried my granddaughter's flower basket- it was in shades of pink and blue. We were married 38 years ago but just had the Catholic wedding we didn't have back then -our son, the Best Man, and his kids participated.

No. Neither of us care for dried flowers that may collect dust that causes allergies so we focused on getting quality photos to remember everything with.

I had my bouquet and my husband's boutonniere both preserved into a couple frames by a local company. I'm so happy with how it turned out!

I dried my bouquet in silica beads, with the intention of doing something cool with it. The flowers were preserved perfectly! Unfortunately, I never decided what to do with them, so they are still just sitting there unused. I plan to have a bouquet at our courthouse ceremony this Fall, so hopefully I will be more proactive at doing something creative with it!

Good point, but I have them now on display in an antique secretary in my living room, right next to the mementos from our original wedding: my original bouquet and his boutonniere which were silk, our Precious Moments figurine which was our cake topper for both weddings, our original invitation and Bride and Groom champagne glasses. The ornament in the photo was a gift from my MOH - it's on display there too. I'll spray them with a preservative - I'm very sentimental and I like to have these on display to bring back memories of 2 very special wedding days!
