Did you register for fine china and crystal?

Nope. I break everything in site, so just the cheap Corelle for me! I did registrar for lots of bar stuff: decanters, wine glasses, beer glasses, ice bucket and such. I'd rather have a kick ass bar than china, but that's me.

We didn't register for china, but we ended up getting a nice 50 piece Noritake platinum set which I think is from BB&B (crestwood?). It is very pretty and I hope we will have reason to use it. Our regular / casual dining set are the heavy square white plates from crate & barrel so it is easy to dress them up with the right linens and napkin rings etc.

Crystal I don't think is necessary. I would register for nice wine glasses with stems and a set without that you can use with FH on a regular basis.

if I register more places, I don't think china will be one of the things because I already have it.

We didn't register for china. Our families will already be spending a lot of money to travel for the wedding that we felt really bad putting anything expensive on our registry. We only created one with a small number of items to prevent getting anything from people that we wouldn't use.

We did add a few wine glasses from crate and barrel to our registry so we can start upgrading some of the glassware we already own.

No, FH and I are going to have very small living quarters when we get married (were renting a piece of property and parking our trailer on it to save up for a house) anyways when we buy our house, i'll have a house warming party and the money we get from that we will use to buy china or any other thing we forgo'd registering for because of space limitations!

Nope! I didn't register for them. For a few reasons:

    1) They're too expensive for my taste.

    2) I wouldn't even use them on holidays.

    3) I am the biggest klutz and half the set would be broken before our 1st anniversary.

We didn't register for china or crystal. We just registered for some really nice everyday dishes that can work for special occasions. Also registered for lots of wine glasses.

We have a really beautiful crystal vase that we got as a wedding gift.

My mother has a really nice set of china and she never uses it. Half the time we aren't there for Thanksgiving and they've been doing Christmas with us, so that pretty much eliminates any special occasion to use it. I'll be fine with inheriting it someday.

Nope, doesn't seem important to us and a unnecessary cost, we are just starting our lives together and need and want things we will actually use.
