Did you start wedding planning before the proposal?

A little bit. I made a folder on my computer and started looking at pictures of dresses and rings and venues like I liked. Nothing serious though. And it was only a few months before.

Nope, not really. The only thing I did was buy the shoes that I am wearing. I only reason I did that was because the price was a steal.

We are in our 40's and we were dating with a purpose so YES! Once we knew we wanted to lead our relationship towards marriage and had discussed it. I started looking at venues and researching the preffered vendors and told him about them and we both decided to go and put the deposit on our venue, dj, and bartender since they book up really fast and the venue is not available all year long. It was unconventional I suppose but we are glad that we did it that way. Had we waited we would be spending at least another 3K - 5K on a venue in Los Angeles area and we are happy to say that we are getting married the day after our 3rd anniversary of our courtship.

Guilty, but I'm pretty sure most girls have a pinterest board before they are engaged. But no official plans were made until we were engaged.

Yes I did but we also openly talked about engagement and marriage so we both knew that's what we wanted. We both had access to the board and pinned things.

I didn't specifically plan, but had a pinterest board of general ideas. The only idea I am actually keeping from my pinterest boards is the bridesmaids dress color of burgundy.

Guilty✋🏼 To be fair though my man had the ring for almost a year. He talked about what our dream wedding was as much as I did,
even though he had more insight then I did at the time.

Innocent-ish. I was told to start planning a wedding by him... I started bombarding him with ideas because I was mad at him and wanted to scare him away. It didn't work and some of those ideas stuck.
