Did you use Minted.com to print your envelopes?

JuleeM, on March 18, 2015 at 5:45 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 10

I see a bunch of people mention they use minted.com to print the mail to addresses for their envelopes. I will be getting my STD and invites elsewhere but I love the idea of this service and they are cheap! However it is quite expensive to have them also add your return address so how did you handle this? Did you use them to do it too or did you do it yourself? If yourself did you hand write it or just print it with a different font? I'm probably way over thinking this!

Following. Want to use them for my invites but it really adds up! Also... Anyone know the biggest discount they tend to offer? I see 10-15% sometimes... But I want a better deal!

Yeah I found some I love on there too but they ended up being $100 more than ones I Wedding Paper Divas that I also love. I haven't seen more than 15% off. I looked through their FB page to see if they had previous sales with more off.

I had them address the envelopes, and then I bought a custom stamp from Etsy for the return address. Different fonts, but no one noticed!

I've seen 30% for minted.com but I get emails from them, wedding paper divas, zazzle, vistaprint, and a few others daily. (Invites are my Achilles heel lol). I've also seen 20% more often than 30% but the just had a 30%

Ok and here is another question. What did you do about your inner envelopes? Did you hand write those or print?

I printed guest and return addresses from minted. We're still collecting addresses- I'll print the addresses we're waiting on in the same font at home (we didn't opt for a designed option). There were a couple relatives where we had the names printed, and I'll probably hand write those addresses.

I think they had 20% off sales last year, and it might have been a discount code that came in the sample packet.

I'm not having inner envelopes, but if I were, I might hand write them to make it more personal.

We got a Minted deal on Black Friday where we were able to get 25% off our invitation purchase. They had designated amounts, and then you paid 75% of that amount and the credit never expires. We chose 25% off of $400, so we paid $300, which I thought was a pretty good deal. I should have priced more carefully in advance though, because we ended up going over that $400 credit a bit haha. Just approved the proof for our order though and I'm really happy with them! We opted to have the free recipient address added, and we paid extra for our return address to be printed on the outside envelope and also on the RSVP envelope.

I used Minted and I loved it and so did the rest of my guests!! They said it looked so fancy. Much better than calligrapher and it was so easy and inexpensive. And then I just used return labels from Vistaprint. Came out so good.
