Did your fh attend your bridal shower?

Anna, on February 12, 2020 at 6:17 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 16
I saw a few post here that had mention their fh being with them at their bridal shower. I have mine coming up and would love to bring my fh. Is that okay? Is it only supposed to be a women's thing? Just want to know.

I've seen people have it where their fh makes an appearance. Mine made an appearance at the end

My shower is next weekend. FH says he will be there if I want him to be there, but I feel like he will be uncomfortable. I did tell him to show up at the end to help load the car and bring gifts back to the house 😂

We had a couples shower so he was there the whole time. For bridal showers I usually see the significant other show up at the end.

I would ask the person hosting. Do the other ladies want to have it more of a girls event? I think at the end would be nice.

We had a couples shower. Since the gifts were for the both of us, we thought we should both be in attendance to accept the gifts and thank our friends and families.

Men don’t typically attend bridal showers. In some areas it’s tradition for the significant other to come at the end of the shower to bring the bride flowers and thank everyone.

My fiancé is just going to show up at the end. He would definitely be super uncomfortable at a bridal shower lol

The host's husband showed up at the end of my friend's bridal shower, and his eyes just bugged out. I don't blame him, his house was turned into a Pinterest model home! I'd ask the host, and bear in mind that a lot of men would not feel comfortable attending.

    Yes he did!
We actually had a co-ed shower, because neither of our families have met each-other prior to that day. We wanted to have a "Ice-breaker" before the wedding so everyone knew and remembered eachother.

THIS! We are having a wedding shower maybe more than a bridal shower. Both sides of the family will be meeting for the first time. Since we have lived on our own for 5+ years, we don't need a ton of stuff. But it was SUPER important to me that the families met before the wedding. I think it's incredibly awkward to show up to a wedding for a cousin and have never met the new spouse. This way it makes the day more meaningful for everyone.

My bridal shower is 3 hours long, I'm having my FH come in for half of it so that we can open presents together.

I want a couple shower so my FH can be involved. I love to do everything with him. I also attended a bridal shower where the groom was there, but the games and gifts were more pertained for the bride.
