I know all brides are in the same position as me. I am trying to lose weight for my engagement phones that will take place in the next 4 months and my wedding is about 13 months away. I need to lose weight stat! Any recommendations for dieting? I don't eat a lot but for some reason it's really hard for me to lose weight. I've tried everything from weight watchers to jenny craig and those were all short term for me. I recently signed up for Orange Theory Fitness so i've been doing that to exercise more which I enjoy and it takes a lot for me to enjoy something like that. Any tips and tricks you can share to losing weight fast?!?

I cut out soda, I only drink water, I don't eat after 5pm and I eat smaller meals and I work out for 45 min to an hour every other day and I lost 65 pounds in a year

Definitely. I hired a trainer 2x/week for 6 weeks as a kick-start and she said between the two, change my diet, which is 80% of weight loss. I did both but cool she was honest!

Its actually very likely that your just not eating enough of the right foods. One thing to consider if your already working out is doing the elimination diet. It’s not a fad diet like keto (sorry for those of you it’s worked for but from a health standpoint it’s hard to sustain that kind of thing for long). It is literally to see what foods your body may be sensitive to. For example I’m not lactose intolerant...but dairy products make me sluggish and a little bloated for days after consumption, same thing with chicken and eggs. A quick google search will tell you exactly how it works, also during the first 6-8 weeks most people lose 15 or so pounds it that helps with my selling point lol

Ideal protein- medically supervised ketogenic program. If you follow it, you will lose inches of fat very quickly. Its a phased approach and you eventually get off of it and maintain preparing your own foods. I weighed 143 this time last year. I'm 5'1" and had put on a lot of weight the previous year. Only took a few months to lose the weight but the inches lost was crazy. I'm now about 108. Just search for one nearby. They are often at wellness centers or chiropractor offices. Good luck.

I forgot to mention that but I’ve tried this diet before. I was on it for 4 months and lost a lot of weight as well but I stopped it because it gave me horrible migraines. I couldn’t take it anymore so I completely stopped. I wish I could go back on it but it was also really expensive for me Smiley sad

Yeah it can be a little expensive but it also mostly replaces your food bill for the week. The hard part is getting used to prepping all of the veggies and planning ahead. You can eat restaurant food but you are better off preparing it all yourself so that you know what's in it. If you follow it exactly, you will lose fat and retain lean muscle so inches come off fast. It's about 100 week plus your grocery bill of veggies and lean meat. If you are serious and want it fast, it's the best one I know of. My aunt lost 150lbs and my mom lost 50lbs. The other hard part is sticking to it when other family members are eating junk but you get used to it. Good luck!!

I've lost almost 75 lbs over the past 3 years and 45 of it was in the past year (I finally broke my yo yo dieting cycle starting last May). I follow a program created by a UCLA nutritionist called 2B mindset and I also follow Beachbody workouts.. Right now I am doing one called morning meltdown 100. I wanted to do it in a way that it would stay off for the rest of my life. So no crash dieting, lots of vegetables and healthy food, water, exercising, but I've also enjoyed myself with wine and pizza and other foods because it was important to me to be able to really enjoy life as well. You have plenty of time to start doing this in a healthy sustainable way ♥️ I never cut out any foods and I've seen great results. I also made an accountability page on Instagram where I've found a lot of like minded people which helps with support.

I eat what everyone else does but less, I have cut out a lot of sugar. I'm slowly getting into making everything from scratch. So far in August alone I lost 20 pounds.

I'm also trying to lose weight, my daughter started keto and has lost 25lbs in 5 weeks. So I'm starting keto also. My wedding is just under 13 months away, and I want to take our engagement photos in December. So I'm hoping to at least drop 30lbs 🤞🏽. Best wishes to us all

I am doing BeachBody workouts too. Currently doing Liift4 and insanity max while I wait for October 1st to start the morning meltdown 100.

I've done both working out and just changing diet. I lost more with just changing my diet then I have now with working out 4-5 times a week.
