Different Type of Father Daughter Dance

My dad & I danced to "September" by Earth, Wind, and Fire as our Father Daughter Dance! It was so much fun!

I would suggest something that's not necessarily geared toward fathers and daughters. I would instead suggest something a bit more inspirational (but not religious) that sends a message of general love and peace without specifying a particular relationship. Specific examples: What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong, I Hope You Dance by Lee Ann Womack, What the World Needs Now by Jackie DeShannon, or any variation of Over the Rainbow from The Wizard of Oz. My husband and his mom danced to this one for their mother-son dance:

My FH is dancing with his daughter at our wedding at the same time I am dancing with my father. We are dancing to the band playing You are my Sunshine. There are several versions on You tube that you can listen to. We're asking the band to learn Willie Nelson's version.

Thinking of this song for my daughter and i. Maybe do the Bachata with it. Just seems fun and light ....and not too mushy.
