Difficulty getting final quote before contract

Good morning! I'm curious about everyone's experience getting a final quote for their venue of choice before signing a contract. We have our location and date that we'd like (El Convento, Puerto Rico) but are having a lot of difficulty actually getting this updated quote so that we can pull the trigger and formally set the date! Do you have any recommendations or words of wisdom? We were supposed to get a quote last Friday but have yet to see it or hear from the coordinator. I know that they have a big event happening this week that takes the whole place but unsure if this would be normal for the event coordinators to then be unable to communicate at all?

I would wait until their event is over and reach out again since you have some time still. It's likely that if the event is big enough that they have "all hands on deck" and won't have time to draft one up before then.
