Dinner 4 two?

So I just received a phone call from this company I saw at a bridal expo saying I won a trip or wedding rings but I have to go to a cooking demo. Has anyone gotten this call or gone to the demo and claimed the prizes? I've googled and it's all mixed responses but no one has said if they've gone on...

If it's legit I would be so excited!

For the vacation vouchers...what did you end up having to pay toward the trip, and when did you have to use it? We already have our honeymoon booked, but I am considering going anyway, to see if it's worth it. Thanks.

I went a week ago. I enjoyed it. I actually picked a package. I registered for one very similar that was $800. This one came with knives and baking ware. For 1200 with a payment plan. I said no one was going to buy it for me anyways might as well. A plus was a free 3 day 2 night hotel stay and a cruise. Yes I know I have to pay taxes but still cheaper. So not a scam

I just got the same message from them! We have to go to the dinner tonight to collect our prizes so I guess I’ll find out if it’s real or not.

Hello all. I went to a presentation tonight for the cooking segment at the Doubletree Suites in Mt. Laurel,NJ. This was a prize I won from a bridal show at the Philadelphia Marriott hotel 4 months ago. I went by myself because my fiance had to work. It was an hour and a half long. Fyi: the demonstration was for Kitchen Maker from Hy Cite Enterprises LLC if you want to look them up for BBB.The host told me that I wasn't supposed to be there since my fiance wasn't there which wasn't noted to me when I received a text message for confirmation. Meanwhile, a young lady came with her mom because her fiance had to work and a couple came late to the event with no registration but I had mine so I thought it should not have been a big deal. Anyhow, the cookware was too expensive at the time and I walked out with the vouchers instead. Out of all the vendors, I may consider the champagne flutes since all I have to pay is shipping and handling fees. The rings I feel aren't pretty enough for women shown on the site for Forevermore jewelry site and I seen several reviews for issues with the vacation offers. Overall, this should have been mentioned at the bridal show conventions for future brides so I wanted to inform others to prevent confusion and reduce any scam opportunities if they were to occur and spend money wisely. I give this event a 4 due to lack of information and attitude of host which was offputting at the latest, I had better chicken and vegetables at Chili's and Applebees.

Seriously if you think that paying $2,000 for a high-end set of pots and pans is a scam then you're kind of an idiot. You going to Williams and Sonoma which is an actual store that sells kitchen stuff you will find knife sets that are $1,000 from different companies and you will find different companies where the pots and pans are $1500 or $2,000+. My fiance and I went to the event and the guy was upfront about taxes and paying airfare and stuff like that and he was up front about why they do what they do or how they get the promotions. He cooked the meal in front of us with the pots and pans which that presentation was actually kind of amazing. The food was good and out of the nine couples that were there about three of them left without buying any cookware and he said thanks for coming have a good night. No pressure at all.

So you don't "win" the rings or the trip. They are included in a packaged deal with cookware. The cookware is amazing- I am a baker and my fiance is a chef and we switched immediately. The rings are nice- titanium and tungsten with lots of options. The trips depend on which package of cookware you purchase, be aware travel costs are not included. It is not cheap cookware which means you are not getting a free package, but are in a sense paying for it long term. Love the company- they have worked with us and our financing and helped us trade in our travel vouchers or a year in which we could use them. Highly recommend Kitchen Charm Cookware and dinner4two.

Do not do it! I went the presentation back in 2016. We were shown some pots and pans and if we purchased we’d get a free honey. Stupidly we bought into it for the honey moon. We’ve been paying off the pots and pans since then and still owe on them.

The sells man told us that we could register through NBR and our family could send gift cards. He told us straight up the gift cards would go towards the pots and pans. THIS IS NOT TRUE!! We sent in a couple hundred dollars in gift cards and haven’t seen a change on our account. I contacted the lady from NBR a couple of times trying to figure out where the money went to. I have received on email back from her, after replying she sent me the same exact email back. I’ve call many times and have left messages and nothing!!

How have your pots and pans held up? Have you dealt with the warranty at all? My fiance and I went to a show this evening and purchased for similar reasons you said. He's a little worried based on some of the things he saw (like this thread) so I'm hoping to put his mind at ease

    Thanks!

So my fiancé and I went to this yesterday. We got a call on Saturday that we had won this and I was super excited but cautious. Then when we get there we end up waiting in the lobby because they won't let us up to the room. Then this lady gets up and rudely says, "You can start walking up now". I tried to push aside her snarky attitude and tried to focus on the free stuff lol. Then we get into the conference room, she comes in and starts doing her sale pitch for the pans. She immediately starts off with "This isn't a scam and there is no obligation..I won't be chasing you with pots and pans after this to make you buy this stuff". Actually, she was very good for the whole thing. Then afterwards, she waits to see if people are going to buy her products. When people started declining, she got very rude and nasty. She made everyone who didn't buy (which was everyone in the room) feel like crap. Also she was talking about people after they left. We did get our "free" stuff (three day/ two night vacation package, free set of wedding bands, and free champagne flutes) but there is fine print that isn't said. The vacation package has extra fees and taxes and is only available to be booked for a check in on Monday/ Tuesday. They champagne flutes aren't free at all they cost 24.95 (it's kinda just like a coupon to get them cheaper but there aren't any good options for the engraving style and set up). The free set of wedding bands was probably the best deal because you only pay shipping and handling. If you are looking for fancy bands though these aren't it. Overall, the sales woman was very rude, it wasn't a scam but was very misleading, and be prepared to feel as though you're the worst person in the world for not buying anything from them.

Don't go, my fiance & I rearranged our schedules & went it was basically a waste of our time. Don't get me wrong their stuff looks impressive, but their prizes are b.s. basically you have to pay to get all your prizes and they're not cheap to get. So while they say you won all this stuff, really all you won was pot holders. The rest of the stuff you're paying anywhere from $4.95-$1000 of dollars for. Which in My mind isn't really a prize.

We went to the expo last Sunday and received the text we won this morning. We are attending the cooking show Tuesday the 12th. We will find out if it is legit.
