Dinner before first dance

What’s a recommendation for dinner before or after the first dance? I’m also having trouble with my timeline lol ceremony starts at 5:30 assuming that is going to take 30 maybe 40 min then right after pictures of me and FH with wedding party and immediate family. I see most people say right after the grand entrance but that seems like they won’t be eating till like 7:30 which is kinda late. Our sparkler send off is going to be at 10 I believe.

    Are you having a cocktail hour? That'll take care of any concern of guests going hungry until dinner service starts at 7:30pm - you'll want to provide drinks and appetizers for your guests while you're taking photos.

    We did the 1st dance right after the grand entrance. When guests got to their seats, the appetizer was already plated at their seats. That way they could start eating right away. Also, we had a cocktail hour in between with a bunch of food options while we took photos.

    For our minimony we did our first dance right after we got married. For our reception this Saturday, we will do the first dance right after the grand entrance. So both before dinner.

    We are doing ours after the grand entrance and before dinner. dinner will be served and then the remaining dances will be done after dinner! I've seen alot of people do dinner and then all dances afterwards, though

    We are doing are grand entrance and walking straight to the dance floor for ours.

    Dinner will be announced immediately after.

    We did ours after all the food when the dancing starts. In Australia I think it is more common to do the dances after all the food. Smiley smile We ate as soon as we got to the venue.
