Dinner Charger Plates- yes or no?

Honestly, the only time I think chargers are a real bonus is if the meal is a buffet. The tables always hit me as a little empty without plates. If you want to do the square chargers, BBB charges the same for 13" rounds and 13" squares ($2.99 each). They have a few color choices.

You may be able to sell them after your wedding. If your venue only has square plates, the venue manager might be willing to tell another bride who wants square chargers that they have a former bride who will sell them at a reasonable cost.

I didn't use chargers at my wedding. Even weddings I went to I don't recall them using it. It's probably just something nice to have, but don't kill yourself over it. People won't even notice if they're not there.

We are using charger plates but they are provided by our caterer. I personally love them I think they make our china stand out more. We are also having a buffet meal. @Centerpiece posted a great link. I see them on sale for pretty cheap quite often.

Our venue offers them also. We are not getting them because of the additional cost. I think if you can afford to have them, they are pretty neat.
