Dinner Music Type

Anything that isn’t danceable. Big Band is popular as is instrumentals. You can pick anything.

We played standards (Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Dean Martin, etc). Also threw in some Michael Buble, Harry Connick, etc. Pretty common stuff, but also very listenable when you’re trying to enjoy dinner and converse.

Honestly, I don't even remember. We just told the DJ to play whatever they normally do during dinner. It provided ambiance but didn't interfere with conversation during dinner. This was one of those things I just left to them as the professionals.

It was actually his suggestion! We weren’t sure what to do either and when he threw that idea out there it made complete sense to us. We gave him a few “must haves” from a few of the crooners, but other than that let him curate the dinner playlist.

We just told our DJ to play dinner music and he took care of it. They should know what to play.

We were going to do jazz charts but I changed my mind and I'm doing some of my favorite film scores now.
