My fiancee got a call from Dinner4two about a free hot pad set, engraved champagne glasses and a 4 day all expenses paid honeymoon.

Has anybody had any experiences with this? I have found reviews from a few years ago but nothing that is recent. I am mainly looking for reviews from people who have gone on their free trips. My fiancee is completely hooked by these people but I think they are full of it and just want to hard sell overpriced cookware. On top of that it looks like they want me to pay $100 in shipping for everything.

Please let me know about your experience with this company.

I just had someone call to say I had won something. BUT in order to get it, both my fiance and I would have to come to an appointment. She asked me to call my fiance right that moment and call her back to see if we could make it. Before hanging up, I said "you haven't even told me what we won yet", to which she responded that I would have to make an appointment and asked why that was a problem.

When I said this was sounding a lot like a scam the lady flipped out on me, (I could almost hear her finger pointing and neck popping from her voice alone) stating the legitimacy and then hung up!!! I was sitting there thinking.... WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED?!

Has anyone actually been on any of the trips? Worth the $40 taxes? Hotel seem decent? Was it all inclusive? Would love to hear more from folks that took the dive on the items offered. Thanks!

I will say after reading all this stuff I was super skeptical and a couple even walked out of the mans pitch after 5 minutes claiming “we read your Yelp reviews” but the pitch was 1.5 hours he started out talking about all the limitations to the prizes aka you pay shipping on rings and champagne flutes and there are certain dates for the all inclusive trips, he also explained very well how all of this works. By mentioning the 3 companies given as prizes they also get brand recognition. The cookware pitch was amazing, the food was great, I was very impressed, although overpriced I did not feel any pressure to buy anything, I actually wish I could have afforded the stuff because I truly was impressed. I asked if we could add to registry unfortunately no. Ultimately if you have a free hour and a half to spare like my fiancé and I, make it a out of the ordinary date night, get some free food, get gifts for free you may or may not use and move on. I think everyone should at least attend. Most gifts have no expiration. Doesn’t hurt to have back up wedding bands or free champagne glasses or a trip you may or may not use. We made of night of it and really enjoyed our time and gifts. We even tried to tip our guy and he refused.

Hey! I just wanted to come on here and say that my fiancé and I went to a dinner4two event, because I received a text from a lady that I won it from the bridal expo, and we actually had a lot of funSmiley smile The guy who hosted was named Matt, and he was great! Super funny and good at his job! We were there with five other couples, and we presented the cook ware to us, obviously making it very appealing and getting all of us to agree that the cook ware was good quality and that we liked it. We did in fact get out three gifts, we got links to the champagne glasses and rings, both of which are up to 200 dollar value, all you have to pay for is shipping. As for the honeymoon, we received that at the end. Now of course, Matt was trying to get us all to buy something (it’s VERY expensive) and I won’t lie I wanted to get something because I was genuinely impressed, but my fiancé and I held firm. We waited for Matt to pull out the vouchers, and we got ours and left with a free meal and spent no money! The voucher we got was/ is for a two night three day stay at an all inclusive resort (there are five locations, two in Mexico, two in the Dominican Republic, and the Bahamas) everything, including the room, food and drinks (and even entertainment) are payed for! Of course we have to pay for our tickets, and a little tax but that’s it! Literally people, this might be scam-ish but this is legit and there was no catch! I don’t know why people dislike this so much, it was actually super straightforward, fun, and I would say it is worth it! We were not made uncomfortable by being pressured to buy stuff. You are not being tricked or scammed, you will get what you are promised, just wait it out till the end, don’t buy anything, and you will get the voucher for the honeymoon! It is so worth it and I would encourage anyone to give it it a try! We were not pressured at all, maybe our host wasn’t thrilled we didn’t buy anything, but other couples were, and we left happy and fed! All in all, 10/10 experience!

It might seem a good deal with the free stuff, but many people will be convinced to buy the expensive products when they least need them. They are the ones paying for the free stuff.

Do you know if you have to bring your fiance to this otherwise they won't provide the prizes?
