Disappointing Weight Loss

My FH and I are both on a diet but despite me needing to lose twice the amount of weight, he has lost double what I have. His BMI when we started was 29, mine is 40. Really discouraging. I just have to accept I will look like an onion in my wedding dress: short and round.

You will not look like an onion. I'm a size 24W and I don't look like an onion!

Find a beautiful flattering dress that you feel attractive in and forget the numbers! Your fiance wants to marry you regardless of what the scale says.

This is one reason why I think losing weight for weddings is a terrible idea. Lose weight for yourself or not at all. It shouldn't be tied into this.

I totally understand this because we are all in the same boat, but if you give up, then you have to start all over again- keep going until you see true weekly result you want and then just repeat and stay consistent and it’ll happen. But again- he proposed already- so whether you lose weight or not, enjoy being engaged and the wedding!!!

My fiance and I have been working out for about 8 months, even before we got engaged. He has always lost weight easier then I have even eating unhealthy and just hitting the gym with me. Focus on yourself and what works for you. You are marrying the person who loves you. He loves you how you are so dont put to much pressure on yourself.
