August 2015 Brides. Also any 08/29/15 Date twins?

I will start. So far we have

The Dj

Our photo booth

Have the save the dates picked out just not ordered

Decided on the menu

Have the hotel booked

Have our ceremony space

Have our officiant (FH dad is a pastor so it just makes sense that he would marry us!)

Have all the important music picked out.

Attacted are photos of the venue and ceremony space

Reception Hall booked

Dress ordered! (I know, but I don't change my mind and it will take 6 months to come plus alterations etc etc)

Photographer booked

Makeup Artist booked

Cake secured! Courtesy of my mother lucked out there

I think that's it so far!

I'm not your date twin but that's my birthday!

So far all we have done is:

Book venue

Ask bridal party

Register

We have also started reaching out to a few DJs and officiants, but haven't signed anything yet.

I feel really behind looking at these forums but I actually don't think I'm behind schedule based on suggested dates on all of the timelines I have found online!

Also 8815wedding the only reason we have a few things done is because if we dont do things ahead of time me and my mother would both be ANGRY stressed out messes

Ours are blue, purple, white and brown (scottish/ocean theme)

We're in the same boat, I need to get the big things booked ahead of time so my mother and I don't have ripping our hair out sessions after Christmas lol. Time also goes by REALLY quickly! Still a ton of details to nail down but it's fun now lol

I cant wait till its at least one year. Oh yeah me and my mother are both loud Italian women. Which means we dont handle stress well at all. It just turns into anger ha.

I'm excited to almost be at the one year mark!!! So far we have the

-ceremony/reception location (I'm taking my father to visit it this week before booking it).

-We have our event planner booked--she does an all inclusive package deal and we are getting our decor/ flowers/ photography/ videography/ dj/ and food from her (this has really helped us bc we don't have to look for each vendor individually; she does the catering/ decor/ flowers herself and books the photo/video/dj for us)

-Made a deposit on our honeymoon hotel

Let's see what else? Oh I have my brooches for the brooch bouquet that I'll be making

It's exciting!!! I feel like in the 6 month mark I will start to panic lol, it's ridiculous since it's still over a year away but if I think about it too long I get nervous :p

Hey August 2015 Brides!!!! I have been DYING to get to the one year mark. Does anyone else feel like they will "really" be engaged once its under a year? I feel this way despite the fact that I have been engaged for almost 8 months and spent thousands of dollars! haha! Here is what I have done...

Venue/ Caterer and ceremony space picked and partially paid for

Photographer picked and 1/2 paid off.

DJ booked and paid in full!

Invitations, favors, and ceremony musicians chosen but not yet booked/ ordered

If all goes according to plan, my dress will be ordered on August 11th!

Other little things...

bridal party has been asked, colors and flowers chosen, started to make our wedding playlist, chosen the down the aisle song

I cannot believe we are almost to the one year mark!!! :o) Not a date twin but super close! Right now we have:

Ceremony Music (Acoustic guitar player for our beach ceremony)

Reception Location (DJ is included with this)

Photographer (which includes our photo booth)

Florist

"Guest book"

My wedding gown

Bridesmaid dresses

Room blocks almost 100% situated away

Welcome bags (just with no contents in them yet lol)

We are going to do cake and food testing next week so hopefully we'll be able to check those things off soon too!!

@mrsmolin2be and @Emily, we are date twins! Or triplets I'm starting to get nervous that we haven't got more items on our "done" list. We only have a theme, which keeps changing, an idea of a venue but we need to narrow it down, we've started making a playlist, and we've asked our BP but are still down one person there. I'm starting to feel behind!!!
