So I think my fiancé and I have finally figured it out what we want to do for a honeymoon!!!! We were going back-and-forth with different ideas because of the whole coronavirus thing throwing a knife and every plan… We are 90% sure at this point that we are going to Disney World!! We think this will...

We were going back-and-forth with different ideas because of the whole coronavirus thing throwing a knife and every plan…

We are 90% sure at this point that we are going to Disney World!! We think this will work out perfectly because we are going to drive down which takes 24 hours and rent a private villa and we get to bring our dog too!!
I was also very inspired by another bride that posted on here talking about wearing her wedding dress on her honeymoon and we figured depending on how hot it is of course, I could wear my wedding dress and a tiara at Disney World, And my fiancé is a pretty fun guy so my fiancé said he would dress up to either look like Gaston or alladin lol!
Have any of you taken your honeymoon or plan on taking your honeymoon in Disney World?!

No NOLA in EPCOT - just the resort, unfortunately.

Luckily, it's SUPER easy to plan. I can't recommend All Ears blog enough - and Molly's (All Ears) videos on YouTube are amazing (and we only started watching them during the shutdowns - and we've both been to Disney a LOT).

Start looking at Disney's website, now - it'll help you pick the restaurants and experiences that are right for *you.* Also, go ahead and download the My Disney Experience app (and link your accounts). It keeps track of things like reservations, tickets, park passes, etc.

Always happy to help, so if you want to drop me a DM, I'll answer (it may not be *quickly* - we're closing on our house Monday, so things are nuts).

Almost forgot - if it's in your budget, get a Memory Maker (purchased ahead of time you save $30). It gives you all of your ride photos, all of your photopass photos (the photographers around the parks), magic shots (Tinkerbell, Peter Pan, Mike Wazowski, Baymax, etc. appear in your photo with you, even though they weren't there), and some "standard shots" (shots that were taken of the parks (or things in the parks) when they're empty).

Yes I did notice that too when I was looking at the website! They also said they do special things on the website for like graduations etc. If in the chance that I’m pregnant by the time we go there, I think I might try to reach out to them to see if maybe they could do some sort of surprise for him as far as like pregnancy announcement goes. But again that’s if I get pregnant before we go and if I am able to keep my big mouth shut and not tell him until we get there lol. As far as the big rides go, if I am pregnant, his brother lives in Florida about an hour away from Disney so I figured I could invite him along and he could ride the big rides with my fiancé. That memory maker seems like a great idea. We are so excited about the food and wine festival!

I just ordered it! Omg I’m soo excited! I have been literally so excited this entire month like the closer and closer the wedding gets I am just getting bursts of excitement every single day haha. I’m so glad I have this website where I can constantly just chat with other brides to get what I’m feeling. That way I don’t have to bombard my loved ones with my constant nonstop wedding/honeymoon talk

Absolutely! My only thing would be, would shoes like that be comfortable to walk around in all day? I might switch those out for something more comfortable!

We are taking our honeymoon in Disney and are pretty excited. Lol we haven’t been in our adult years. And our Disney travel agent got us some good honeymoon perks.

If you're flexible on the dates, I would consider November. You can catch the tail end of Food & Wine Festival (if you like yummy bites and tasty drinks) AND see it decorated for Christmas. IMO, Disney is at it's best during the Christmas decoration season. The weather is also super mild during that time. If you do September, you'll still get Food & Wine and may even be able to do their Halloween party, if they do it this year.

Yeah, so we plan on doing Disney in September, but we decided we are are doing Key West in November, so in November we are going to do a few days at Disney possibly. I desperately want to see it during Christmas time, but fingers crossed I will hopefully be pregnant by November, so I won’t really be able to ride many of the rides at that point. So that’s why I think if we just did the 1-2 days during the key west trip November we can use that time for more as like sightseeing. Unless of course I end up getting pregnant in September LOL which I’m going to try to not do, but who knows! I’m just so excited!

September is a great time too. If you're able to spend a few days in November, I would recommend Magic Kingdom and/or Epcot. MK definitely has the most Christmas decorations. You could also hop on the monorail and check out the gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian - it's massive (hopefully they're able to do it again this year).
