Displaying engagement photos at wedding?

Mrs.bubs525, on January 8, 2015 at 8:46 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 20

Fh and I will be taking epics in the spring (I refuse to do them in the winter.) I would really like to display them at the wedding, but I have no idea how to do so. Do i just frame them and put them on a table or...idk lol. Is anyone doing/done this? If so, how are you displaying them?

We will have a canvas print of us by the seating chart guest book area. Not multiples.

We also have a canvas print that we were going to have people sign. But I also just got a bunch of shutterfly gift cards so I'm thinking of making an album.

Our photographer designs our guestbook with the engagement photos so I don't think we need to really display them outside of that. We also used them for invitations and for our website so I kind of feel like I am on the borderline of over-doing it.

I plan on doing this. I have a large wooden poster frame that I'm using for the seating chart and will alternate tables with pictures of us. I had planned on taking the glass and back out, and putting string across with the pics/tables hanging off with mini clothespins (I don't want to re-do the whole thing for a minor change), but it may look a bit too rustic, so I don't know.

We're also having a guest book made up with our e-pics.

That's what we're doing. Going to put a few on the card table, on the piano in the entry way, and maybe one on the bar top.

We have a caricature of us as X-Men from last year that I am determined to hang somewhere at the reception.

Similar to Monana. I designed a guest book via walgreens with our engagement photos throughout and plenty of space for guests to write personal notes. I love looking at it. We also used our e-pics on Save the Dates and Wedding Website.

My venue has multiple flat screens mounted throughout the reception area, so I'm in the process of creating a slide show that will be displayed during dinner.

A friend of mine didn't have them at the wedding but did have them at the grooms dinner and brunch the next day. It was fun to see them blown up (she had them on canvas...about 6 of them).

I did a powerpoint during the wedding that included our engagement photos but also baby photos and other fun photos.

    I hadn't thought about this, but I think it's a great idea!

My sister had one of her bridals displayed next to their guest book

We might incorporate pictures of us over the past few years with our table numbers, but we will have one picture of us together, and a family picture on the table near our guest book.

Our photographer made us a signature board using our engagement pictures in lieu of a guest book.

Thanks everyone for the ideas. We aren't doing save the dates or a guest book, so I think we will probably display them on canvas or framed outside the ballroom where the reception will be.

WE are going to see if the venue has projectors or something in the ceremony room and do it that way.

I got the plastic fans from dollar tree and put them around my venue on shelves that were throughout the venue. Many people commented on them. After the wedding we gave them to family...parent, aunts and siblings.

We'll be using projectors as well to display our photos.

Yes of course you should, that's part of the reason you do them Smiley smile

    STD's

Prints and display for wedding reception

Part of any slideshows at reception

    Engagement photo guest sign-in album

Just some things they're commonly used for Smiley smile
