Disposable plates?

I'm considering using disposable plates. I just feel like its so much easier! Where are the best places to buy it from and how much of it do I need? I will have about 250 guests.

Thats not a nice way to celebrate their loved ones special day. No one wants to work a party, no matter how much they say its ok.

Evidently not since some caterers even use disposable. Not cheap caterers high-end too. Even some with their logo. Of course this being a forum opinions are allowed

Ashley, this is a very opinionated forum even those that consider themselves experts. However, when you ask opinions that's what you get. But, at the end of the day you have the final say. Take what is said with a grain of salt.

Wow. The bridezillas are out today! First of all, not everyone wants to spend a morage on a wedding, so just because she is being a responsible adult and not selling a kidney for a single night, no one should be making her feel guilty for using a cheaper alternative and certainly not for using her family to help if they volunteered! She asked a simple question, and instead got everyone griping at her and telling her to switch caterers over freaking plates, which is impractical, she obviously chose them for a reason, be it her preferrence or budget, thats none of your concern. If you dont have something constructive to add to the forum to answer her question, move the hell on you snooty bitches!
Try efavormart.com, they have the nicest ones at the best price, including silverware. Ive used them for parties in the past. You can always setup a recycling bin at the venue. Compostable plates, btw, are usually either a- great but not actually that compostable or b- compostable but filmsy and terrible.

We bought these strong, thick plastic plates for our 100 guests! We will be able to toss them and the silverware and napkins after the reception. It was around 0.80cents a plate!
