Thanks, Denise! I'm heading to Michael's after work to get some more ideas. All of the flip-flops came in yesterday so I'll have my work cut out for me!

I'm definitely going to do somethings similar with the bridal flip-flops, but I'm going to do something way more subtle for the BM's' flip-flops, like, maybe an embellishment to match the flower in their hair, and a name decal to go on the side of one of the shoes... Haven't quite figured out that part, as yet.

Good luck with your search. I'm sure you'll find everything you need at Micheal's. I'm heading to the Christmas Tree Store to pick up some shells they have on clearance. We're heading to our vacation house in FL on Monday and I'm trying to bring stuff each time we go so it will all be down there and I can get some projects started. So excited that we also have consultations with 2 florists, a DJ and 2 DOC's. I'm looking forward to getting these big things out of the way so I can concentrate on the little details.

Denise, I'm on my phone so I can't see where in Florida your wedding will be. I have a crapload of shells left over from my candle favors, if you're interested.

Thanks so much for you generous offer, but we're on the West Coast by Ft Myers. I really appreciate your offer though.

Btw how did your favors turn out. I say your inspiration pic that you posted on one of the threads but never saw the finished. Hope it went smoothly.

I'm gonna send you a like to connect request. I LOVED your DIY invitations. I know your probably super busy with your wedding being right around the corner but maybe after your wedding when things settle down you could give me some tips.

Wow, Denise, that was so sweet. Thank you! I just accepted your request!!

Have you completed your invitations, already?

My favors turned out wonderfully. They're not perfect, though. The gel was hot and I burned myself a few times, trying to keep a steady hand. There were some spills and some of the candles aren't evenly distributed. But really, I don't care. I love them just the same because I did them, myself. Here are some pictures!

    1) placement of shells in each shot glass.

    2) finished product, after gel has been poured.

I think your favors turned out great. Good job.

I still have lots of time for the invites. I plan on sending them out mid/late Feb. or early March. I've seen so many that I like but they're all so pricey and I refuse to spend a ton of $$ on something people will eventually throw out. I kind of have an idea of what I want just don't know where to start. I'll worry about all that after I get the rest of my vendors secured.

Laudie! LMAOOO!!! I'm only embellishing mine and the BM's! The rest of them are getting thrown into two baskets for the "Guys" and "Gals" on the guest list!

And thank you! The favors were such a task but I was so proud of them in the end... They were totally worth the work!
