diy Cake Topper

Has anyone here made their cake topper? A lot of our wedding is DIY, but this part I'm undecided about. I found one I really like online but it is pretty pricey, the second option is to make one based off pic 2 as a template. I don't have the wood tools but could make a faux wood looking one. What did y'all do? Advice? Thanks! diy Cake Topper 1

Those are both adorable! We'll probably end up using a Lady and the Tramp figurine I found while antique shopping, but I did have this custom made. Now we're placing this on our memorial table since it has our late furchild included.

I ended up going with funko pops but before I did I had gotten a silhouette one like the second photo you have. It’s actually really inexpensive on eBay! It’ll just take a long time to come though aha

I would chevk Facebook marketplace, some people will resell their cake toppers ( especially the willow tree figurines), you could also look on etsy ( the wood one you posted I think was pretty inexpensive (under 25 with shipping)) or ebay! Save yourself the time wood working takes a lot more time than most think!

The 1st one (Willow tree figurine) is the one we have as our wedding cake topper. I found it on FB market place for like $8. Have you looking around to see if you could buy a “used” one?
I also really like your second one too! I think either one you go will will look great!

Thanks for the advice. If I use the wood picture (yes it is on ETSY) I would change it to match us better and create my own topper.

Thank you! It is way cheaper to DIY them. All I had to buy was the clay and it was only 5 bucks!
