DIY Centerpieces Finished!

Jennifer, on June 14, 2021 at 5:49 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 2 8
I just wanted to share my first large DIY project I did for our wedding. It felt like it took forever but it’s finally done!
I started working on these centerpieces last year, before our date had to be rescheduled, and then lost all motivation for them until a few months ago. And man does it feel good to have them completed! I’m so happy with how they came out!!
The lace bottles will be lit the whole night for the wedding, my camera just wasn’t liking to focus on the lights. The only thing that needs to be added is there will be real baby’s breath in the mason jars and I have to make the actual table number signs (I just use stand ins to make sure the cork was cut far enough)

Those look awesome! I painted mason jars in our wedding colors so half are maroon and the other half are charcoal. We spray painted the inside black except a heart cutout which lines up with the heart cutout in the maroon or charcoal paint and filled the jars with fairy lights. We originally had just planned for the jars for the centerpieces but our venue had stuff we could put with it to add a little extra to the table.

We are doing koozies for our wedding favors and I made them all myself which was a very long and annoying process but it was the only way I could do two designs with each design in two colors and not have to order way more than I needed.

That sounds like it's going to look so nice! I love the idea of the heart being lit up by the lights inside! Your favors sound like they were worth all your hard work in the end tho!

Our favors seemed to just have gotten more complicated, we're doing infused oils, we have the little jars, the herbs, and the oils we just have to put it all together. Now for the twist, I just printed a sample of the tags I purchased... and well they're the same size as the bottle. So we're either going to have giant tags or I have to figure out how to make them smaller, since resizing on the program isn't an option.
