I’m glad you realized it was a scam and got your money back! I have the original Maker and it does everything I’ve needed. I don’t see the need to upgrade to the Maker 3 at this time, but if I were buying new, I’d probably purchase that one.

I have a Silhouette Cameo and I love it! My husband did extensive research on it before he picked which one to buy. According to him, it’s one of the best. I didn’t do any research though. So take his research with a grain of salt. I do like it and it’s easy to use.

Depends on what you want to do. Make sure you research, because the design space for the cricut is garbage. If you want to make your own designs then DO NOT BUY CRICUT. If you plan on using their templates then go for it.

I made these so far with my Cricut explore 2! Each bag was only $2 and I plan on making custom water bottles too!

Since I have been using my Cricut explore air 2 for about two years, I love it and hate it. I would definitely upgrade to the maker but I would not recommend the maker 3 unless you want to be stuck using ONLY cricut smart material vinyl or heat transfer which I think the maker 3 only takes because you don’t need a mat to hold the vinyl when it’s cutting. My favorite vinyl and heat transfer vinyl I find for reasonable pricing on eBay and I like the oracle brand. Hope this helps!

Oh I forgot to mention the reason if your thinking of getting the cricut explore air 2, just know you WONT be able to print then cut images that are on colored cardstock or sticker paper. That’s the worst part for me I guess.
