I haven't done mine yet, but I found this tutorial. You could print on cardstock and then assemble this way.

I did my own! They were pretty easy, I can post mine later when I'm on my computer. I printed them on one sheet of cardstock, scored the cardstock and folded it in half. Then I cut both sides at the same time, so they lined up exactly and glued an extra large popsicle stick in between. There are different types of fans, but the others seemed like drastically more work.

Tatiana - That's EXACTLY what I did. It cost me all of $8 to do it.

Dh and I made our own paddle fans. I bought the program paddle kit at Joanne's for $9.99. I needed 2 kits so it came out to $20. It came with the rounded shaped cards rock, paddle sticks and bow. I looked online for bridal party silhouette templates and pics of other bridal party silhouette paddle fans and sent them to dh. He used Microsoft publisher to cut, copy, and paste the pics and added our wedding info and names. Here is the end result.

Thank you all so much for your help!

Jessica - I love the idea of the crossword puzzle!

Val - Yours came out really cute, I will have to check out Joanne's... didn't think they would carry that!

@ Brittani, I didn't think they had a kit until I saw it there. I was going to buy the card stock, ribbon, and paddle sticks at hobby lobby. I liked the kit because the ribbon was already tied in a bow and the cardstock was pre cut. So less work and no scissors needed.

@Kaity, the sticks already had sticky glue on them. I just had to peel the strip and place them where I wanted. It also came with little front and back sticky pads to put in between the paper, but I also used a hot glue gun in between and I needed to glue the bow on.

These are our fans. I got 125 fans, 25 table number centerpieces, 200 name place cards, and a custom seating chart for just over $100.

We got them off Etsy and the seller is creatingapapermemory. Highly recommend!

@ Val - where did you find the individual bridal party silhouette templates? (I've seen how to do them but am not familiar with photoshop) I love that the girls aren't all the same! Were they Wilton print your own kits? Would you mind sending me your files?! Sorry so many questions :0)

I would really like to have programs but do not want to spend the money on them but yours are the cutest DIY ones I have seen and totally want to copy! Any help is really appreciated!!

@amy, yes it's the Wilton kit.. My dh designed the program on his laptop and I think he deleted it since our wedding is done and over with. Our bridal party silhouette pic/ template was in 5 different pieces so it wasn't 1 actual whole template. Reason for that is because I googled looking for bridal party silhouettes.

I snapshot other programs that I saw with bridal party silhouettes. Only the ones that were clear and not blurry. I sent him maybe 8 images and he cut and coppied and pasted different ones using the pics I sent him. That is why it's in 5 different pieces, the bride & groom were from one pic, groomsmen on another, bridesmaids on another also, etc. He used Microsoft publisher to do all that.

I googled some silhouettes you might like. These are examples and you can easily google and copy the image and use different parts of the silhouettes. I hope that helps :-)

Thanks @Val I have seen some online, but just have not been able to use them due to the resolution being too low. I will try again!
