diy Floral From Fiftyflowers

Lacy, on December 2, 2019 at 5:19 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 2 10

Hi everyone! I had decided a long time ago that we were going to do our own flowers. I have been going back and forth between FiftyFlowers and FlowerMoxie for months. Today, I finally bit the bullet, and I decided to go ahead and purchase my flowers. Our wedding isn't until 10.10.20, so they won't be delivered until 10.07.20. However, I wanted to go ahead and purchase them since they are having a 13% off sale right now. Here's what I landed on:

100 Quicksand Cream Roses

80 Burgundy Berry Dahlia Flowers

60 Cream Ivory Peony Roses

80 White Cloud Spray Garden Roses

20 Bunches Silver Dollar Eucalyptus

20 Bunches Seeded Eucalyptus

5 Bunches Red Hanging Amaranthus

How was everybody else's experience with DIY arrangements from FiftyFlowers or other online places? Any tips and tricks? I've read a lot about it online, but I always want to read first hand experiences. Pictures are a plus!

My arrangements from FiftyFlowers are coming in next week! I'm thinking about doing a post when they come in - fingers crossed everything will be okay, but I've heard nothing but good things!

Are you ordering their pre-made arrangements, or are you putting everything together on your own? If you are ordering the pre-made arrangements, which ones did you go with?

I'll be doing the samething! I've watched a million DIY videos and I think I'm ready now lol. Our wedding isn't until 9/19/2020 and I thought this is the perfect amount of time to do a couple test runs.

I was planning on using Fifty Flowers as well for my 10/2020 wedding. Please update us on your experience and process...I’d love to know! My mom did DIY florals from Costco before and they turned out beautifully. Hoping Fifty Flowers will be similar!

Unfortunately, since I won't be getting married until the same month next year, I don't think I'll be able to give you a review in time, but I definitely want to put a post up with all the details then to help future brides and grooms. They have great reviews. I'm just nervous about my creative abilities.

I'd like to do some test runs, too. I'll probably just buy some comparable flowers at a local grocer or florist since I won't have a bulk order for the test runs. What look are you going for?
