DIY flower dog leash

Pabby13, on February 3, 2016 at 10:03 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 18

So I barely ever do crafts because it looks like a 2 year old did it, but I can honestly say I'm pretty happy with my first try at a flower dog leash! This most likely will be the only thing I DIY though lol

LOVE IT!!! Glad you went with the flower leash instead of a bouquet Smiley smile

ETA: If she holds it in a loop while at the front while pup is sitting, it'll be more luscious than many bouquets I've seen!

Thank you! It was a lot easier than I thought it would be, but instead of doing individual flowers like the tutorial I have 2 flower strands twirling around the leash in the middle.

I'm going to try a few more and practice Smiley smile

Our colors are light orange, pink, and cobalt blue I left out orange on the leash because the bridesmaid holding it will be wearing orange.

ETA but I really like the leash colors together and am debating just going with colors off of it instead, it's very springy.

Flower leash is adorable. We are making our ring pup a tux, I didn't think about doing anything special for his leash. Hmmmm

Gorgeous! I really like it. Maybe put it up against something orange to see how the leash contrasts against the color?

Chrissy- we're going to have him wear a shirt tux to go with it, he's going to hate me lol

JSmith2U- I'm going to wait until my bridesmaid gets her dress and see how it looks, I wouldn't mind making another if it doesn't work Smiley smile

Emilyg- I bought them from Michael's, the brand is Ashland and they are spring garlands

Cool, thanks! I'm looking at silk garlands for stone decor and am nervous about them looking thin, but yours are so full and pretty! Great to see.

Emilyg- I doubled up on them, when they were just single garlands they were pretty thin.

FutureMrsK- thank you! I almost bought one offline for $75, but with Michaels having a decent sale on their flowers I only spent around $25 instead.
