Commamd strips? I'm not sure if they will stick to the wood, but either that or zip ties and hide them in the drapery!

You could also use fishing line to tie things on if you don’t want the attachments to be visible.

I agree with the other PP's. You could also do ribbon or twine.

You could use command hooks, as long as they aren’t too heavy and it isn’t too humid. You’ll also want to be sure to clean the surface with alcohol before using the command strips.

you can use fishing line to attach the flowers to. You could also use oasis floral glue. You might want to thread the flowers then dab some glue over the puncture in the flower where you threaded the line to try to retain as much moisture as possible, so the flowers last as long as possible... I’m assuming you are using real flowers. If not, don’t worry about the oasis floral glue.

depending on the weight, you might also be able to do thumb tacks (if they allow that). Or just tie the fishing line around the support beam... so leave yourself a long lead of fishing line before you start attaching flowers.

ZIP TIES! I had a venue suggest them as a decorating tip, and It was an eye opener!
