Hi Everyone, I'm trying to figure out what I want to do for my flowers. A florist isn't in my budget and I really don't care that much about flowers but want to have very basic bride/BM bouquets and centerpieces. Has anyone done/planned to do the bulk flowers from Costco? Thanks for any advice! ...

Hi Everyone,

Your flowers are amazing!! I looked up the shop you recommended but she isn't taking anymore orders because she has having a baby. Sad for me but glad you were able to get such beautiful flowers!!

My sister purchased flowers at Sam's last night and also a beautiful large vase. She put it together herself and it looked beautiful. I believe she spent about 35 dollars for the whole thing. I didn't get to take a picture of it. I will take one later on today and will post.

Ugh I’m sorry I totally forgot about that! You can also look at eco flowers! I’ve seen some forums from girls who have used eco flowers and they look amazing!

We are doing bulk flowers for the reception. Simple centerpieces with bud vases. Haven't decided on my bouquet yet and I don't have a bridal party.

Just a heads up because I've seen some mention it here so far - I'm pretty sure Eco Flowers is already or is in the process of going out of business.

Check out their BBB page. Speaks for itself.

There are sometimes florists that offer a DIY night the week of your wedding, where you can bring a few people with you to assemble bouquets and boutonnieres. Just make sure if you go this route that you are prepared to either look up some tutorial videos or that they have someone on staff to help you so that things look nicely done!

I am doing my own centerpieces, mismatched clear glass vases from thrift stores and then I'm buying the flowers in bulk at Norfolk Wholesale Florists. But I'm cutting down on cost by not having them premade or put together by a designer. I'm just ordering the flowers.

Also, I am sorta doing my own flowers for the rest of the wedding. I ordered from Bloominous. They had a designer put together a collection based on images I sent them. I'm getting everything for around $800.

We did tulip centerpieces from SAMs for $100. We also got 6 corsages and boutonnieres from SAMs for around $115. We hired a florist for all the bouquets because, though I am crafty, I didn't want that stress a day or two before the wedding and didn't like the look of any fake flowers I saw. Our florist is costing us around $400 for a flower girl basket, my bouquet, and bouquets for my four bridesmaids.

I went on Etsy and bought my bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 5 boutonnières and 2 corsages for 175. I wanted the real feel silk flowers so I could have them forever.

I ordered my bouquet from Costco and it was a good experience, no issues.

My Sister put this together for under 35 dollars! She purchased flowers and vase at Sam’s.
