I ordered from three separate floral wholesalers for my daughter's wedding (Fifty Flowers, Whole Blossoms and Sam's Club). I had specific flowers that my daughter wanted and went with the less expensive vendor for each type.

The flowers that I ordered from Fifty Flowers were the Creamy Ivory Peony Rose, the White Cloud Spray Garden Roses, Billy Balls (Craspedia) and Dusty Miller. Lavender and White Wax Flower ordered from Whole Blossoms and White Hydrangea from Sam's Club. All were in great shape and looked gorgeous for the wedding, though Fifty Flowers seemed to have the best customer service/communication.

I would definitely order from any of the three vendors again. If using a wholesaler, be sure to sign up for their newsletter - I saved money this way by getting % off coupons and notices of sales on particular flowers.

I ordered TONS of flowers as we had a LOT of space to decorate and came in at $1,000. It was a lot of work, but worth it - the flowers were gorgeous!

    Lisa -

I have no idea how much a pro would've charged for these. This was for my daughter and she had a very tight budget. She also had a literary/vintage theme so we originally were just going to do origami book flowers from favorite reads.

Me, being "mom", wanted fresh flowers for her as well and with me living in a different state, decided to look into the wholesalers. I, admittedly, went a little nuts with the flowers - but I took that all on myself :-) If we just had centerpieces, aisle decor and bouquets it would've been probably a quarter of the cost but as I said in earlier post, we had a LOT of different spaces throughout the venue that needed special touches.

The hydrangeas, garden roses and wax flowers looked terrific with the book flowers we had made - we mixed them all in together - you can see in this photo a couple of the origami ones.

Saccatume - this is a really great origami site: http://www.origami-instructions.com/origami-flowers.html

FutureMrs - thank you! The centerpieces were all done by my sister, daughter and me and none of us have any floral arranging in our backgrounds. I will say that we each have a bit of creativity in our blood, so that helps. These weren't as difficult as a "formal" arrangement might be and we had a lot of fun doing them!
