Calling all brides who are doing their own flowers!! I am doing my own flowers. I have watched tons of videos. It seems really simple but I'm nervous it won't turn out well. I'm going to do a trial run next weekend.

I want to know if it was easy for you to make your own bouquets or of it was difficult. Any tips?

My Mom had a Floral and 🎁 shop, so I was able to use my experience from helping her to do my 💐s and Floral decorations.

We’re here to help, so please lean on us.

    Congratulations and 🍀‼️

I just did my bridal bouquet. First time ever arranging flowers! I bought some "bushes" of flowers and some single stem. I bought way too many. I didn't need all that I bought, but now I have extra that I can start using for the other flower arrangements.

I made sure I had my inspiration pictures handy. So I realized quickly that the bushes were too voluminous the way they were. So I ended up cutting all the bushed apart and turning everything into single stems. They fit together much better and it got slimmer! Then it was a matter of figuring out how to make it look good.

I think I had to put it together and take it apart like 4 or 5 times before I got one I liked. At first I had all my greenery on the outsides. My mom said it looked too weird. Then my bouquet kept looking lopsided! But eventually I got it. Probably could be better but I'm not gonna sweat, I like how it is now.

I didn't have floral tape when I started so I ended up using wash tape to bind the stems together until I got floral tape like a week later, haha.

Make sure you have strong hands and sharp wire cutters! I still couldn't cut some stems by myself cause I'm weak so I had to get my dad to trim the stems for me!

Good luck! Dont be afraid to take a breath and put it down for a bit if it's frustrating you.

I made my own bouquet! Is it perfect? Nope. But I love it. I made sure I did it when I had no interuptions, had all my flowers laid out, the right tools and supplies. I played around with adding and taking away flowers. Take your time and have fun!

It was *simple* enough— I was well prepared after YouTube videos , had my floral tape and clippers and was ready to roll and....the flowers came together well! BUT, it was time consuming, and frankly, a bit messier than I anticipated (stems everywhere !) and on a couple of occasions, I (miss independent!) absolutely NEEDED a second pair of hands to help keep things in place ...but, with a lot of time (give yourself plenty!) and a little help, they turned out perfectly. Have fun with it!

My mom & I are doing mine. We mad a boutique like one for my bridal shower 2 weeks ago and we’re going to make another one this Friday for our wedding shower on Saturday. The nice thing is that all these practice bouquets mean I have fresh flowers in the house every couple of weeks!

I went to Michael's and got already made bouquets for my bridesmaids since they were small. For my own I took a bunch of small ones of theirs and put em together for a large one
