someo e help me temporarily keep my ring from slipping off without having those plastic ring things because the plastic irritates me

this is what I have

its a hair tie... I trimmed it to not be so bulky...at least it’s fabric... the plastic thing is hurting my hand

Alyssa, take your ring off and leave it at home so you don’t lose it again. Don’t make me call your fiancé.

LOL!!! Smiley smile I actually lol'd on this one. She's right though Alyssa. Better safe than sorry! You can also try tape if you refuse to take it off. You would do it in the same way as you currently have the fabric on your finger.

Get a ring guard. You can almost get it done at any jeweler for very cheap. You can also buy one online and do it yourself. It's a great temporary fix.

If it fits without the danger of falling off, then that should work if you really want to wait until after the holidays.

I got ring guards at Walmart for another one of my rings .. they aren’t good for long time use but if you just are waiting until after the holidays to have your ring sized it could be a quick fix !

Lol, middle finger is a good idea! Would it be any tighter if you wore it on your right hand ring finger? Most people’s right hand fingers are half a size larger. Not sure if that would make a difference!

Did you try the soft, spiral plastic size adjusters? I, unfortunately, am stuck wearing one until we head back to the jewelry store (3 hours one-way) to get it resized for the second time. (Still too big after having it resized the first time.) They aren’t the prettiest, but no one really notices and I don’t even feel it. I know you said the plastic ones bothered you, but just wanted to see if you had tried this kind.

i just cannot stand that plastic guard

im thinking when I go out I will use a necklace just in case until I’m sure it’s on lol

Only $4.99! I’ve worn mine for about 1 1/2 months and probably have another 3-4 months before we get it resized again. It’s a suitable temporary fix. Let me know if you order it and what you think.
