DIY Invitation problem

I bought wedding invitations at hobby lobby and the templates on the website is not working. We should just have to put what we want it to say in the box provided (the format is already set when you download the file) and click print, but the margins are all wrong. Even without changing what the template says, the margins are wrong and it won't print them out right on the paper that is given to us. They are off centered, some only printing half on the paper, and it will not allow me to change anything so that I can get it to print. PLEASE HELP!

    I also purchased invites from hobby lobby and am regretting it. I bought 200 white embossed invites with response cards for all of 50$ but cant get them to print at home as my printer will not recognize the paper... very frustrated!

    Some printers won't take that thickness of card stock. Have you tried maybe a friends printer? Or Ginko's/office max?

    I ended up figuring out how to switch the margins... It was very frustrating. After 4 of them not printing correctly.. I sat down and had a very long discussion with my computer.... I also cut about 10 pieces of paper to the size of my invites and printed on those until I got the margins correct. Very frustrating about the templates.... if you are going to give a template, it should work........ I wouldn't really recommend these invites to anyone unless you are VERY computer literate and have a lot of time and patience to figure out how to use them
