diy Invitations

I sent out invites the beginning of November I started them the beginning of October. Wedding was mid January so it was maybe 10 weeks before.

They are sent out at 6-8 weeks before. No earlier or later for any reason. You have sent out save the dates or plan to? If you are DIY..4-6 months ahead is ample time to work on them. Get a design finalized etc.

We ordered them but had them customized to our liking. We also had them addressed-huge time saver. They came in 2 weeks ago & are in the closet. Plan on mailing them mid January with a February 28th deadline-was told not to mail in November or December so they don’t get mixed up with Christmas cards. Our final headcount & payment is due on 3/5 for our 4/3/21 wedding. That gives us a week to track down those who didn’t respond.

I DIY'd my invites. I ended up making them 4 times lol. So I would make a few prototypes first.

I'm getting married june 2021 and I've jsut started the process. I plan on sending invites out in feb. since a large portion of my guest list is out of state and will need time to book accommodations in my busy little tourist town. I'm DIYing (printing on blank invites i picked up at hobby lobby) and figuring out the printing situation didn't take terribly long but i am also pretty tech savvy.
