DIY Kissing Balls

I'm so happy that I finally started my DIY Kissing Balls ... I purchased: 24- 4" styrofoam balls from Ebay for $29.90 plus $5.57 shipping 200x white silk roses flower heads from Ebay for $46.88 (with shipping) 2 rolls of white silk ribbon for $2 from the Dollar Tree I've discovered that I will need...

I'm so happy that I finally started my DIY Kissing Balls ...

I purchased:

24- 4" styrofoam balls from Ebay for $29.90 plus $5.57 shipping

200x white silk roses flower heads from Ebay for $46.88 (with shipping)

2 rolls of white silk ribbon for $2 from the Dollar Tree

I've discovered that I will need approximately 40 silk flower heads so I have to purchase 600x more to make 20 Kissing Balls but I'm having soooo much fun constructing them Smiley smile

I've included a pic as well of the first one I made. I think I will be making the ribbon a bit shorter on the next ones and make one equal to this length to hang on the very first pews.

    Hi Honey B.

    Congrats on your upcoming wedding! You've done a terrific job w/the kissing ball!. We got married 5yrs ago but opted out for a civil ceremony to save $$ for a house and a car. 5yrs later, with a house, two cars (no monthly payment) and an almost 2 yr old son, we decided to have that grand wedding but of course on a tight budget. I'm a very frugal person especially in today's economy. LOL. I'm planning on doing flower kissing balls as a topper for my tiffany blue stacked gift boxes centerpieces for my reception. Is it possible for you to send me a link to the ebay seller/store so that i can purchase the flower heads? I'd really appreciate it!. I've looked on ebay but there's so many, not sure which one is the best. After seeing yours, i'm convince that yours it the best and it looks professional. You can email it tome *******@*****.***.

    Yes please share with all of us the seller of the silk roses on ebay. This looks great and sounds simple enough for me the non crafy person to do. Smiley smile
