diy makeup and hair or hire a pro?

I'm not good at doing my own hair or makeup, so I definitely wanted to hire a professional. But your hair and makeup both look amazing!! I wouldn't be able to tell that this wasn't professionally done. If you're comfortable with doing it yourself and want to cut that expense I say go for it!

Go with a pro. It is ok to be pampered. Most people do not have makeup for HD photography in their possession and not everyone is comfortable doing their own hair/makeup

You did a great job on your makeup and hair and it would cut the cost of hiring a professional. Not everyone has an unlimited budget and honestly I’ve seen what getting your makeup done can look with low budget makeup artists (proms and weddings) its never good. My cousin didn’t have a lot of money for a professional and hired one of the cheaper MAs in the area and left sobbing and had to do her own makeup anyway after spending over 150$ on it. Since you do your makeup exceptionally well I say absolutely go for it!!

You did an amazing job! If you want to cut expenses, you should definitely do it yourself. The only thing I would worry about is the stress of the day. I do my makeup best when I'm not under a time crunch and there's no pressure. I couldn't imagine trying to perfect my makeup on my wedding day!

Your hair and makeup look great!! If you can achieve the look you want and don't have to spend the extra money and you like taking the time to do it yourself then yes, do it! Otherwise if you would rather relax that day and have someone else do it, that is also an option.

I'm still debating it. Most hair/makeup artist in my area that are good will cost at least $600.

I was a collegiate and professional cheerleader, so I use to do my own hair and makeup for game days so I think I'm pretty decent when it comes to doing it myself. My biggest issue would be hiring and spending the money when I can do just as good of a job.

I’m pretty good with my hair and makeup, but for my wedding day I let someone else do it because I didn’t want to have to stress about anything. I just wanted to let someone else take care of everything so I could relax. I don’t regret it at all. If you have the money to splurge on it and you find a talented and trusted hair and makeup artist, I say go for it! But you did a fabulous job, so if you aren’t comfortable with that then you could totally do it yourself!

This looks too good to pay someone else to do it!! Unless you worry it would stress you out the day of. I’m planning to have someone do my hair bc I usually just wear it in a pony tail, but gasping my own makeup bc I feel fine getting the look I want. You look stunning!!

Your makeup looks amazing. I’d do it myself if I could. If you feel like it will be relaxing for you to do on your wedding day, go for it. You’ll save a lot because you usually also have to trial MUAs.

WOW! Looks AMAZING! If you can do it yourself then by all means do it! You'll be saving money. As long as it doesn't stress you out then go for it. If you want to relax and like being pampered then get it professionally done. But in my opinion you killed it!
