Diy Microweddings

Everyone knows what diy means but what about microwedding? If you're like myself you Google it. Microweddings consist of 20 guests or less. So we decided that an outdoor, diy, microwedding/reception was ideal for us. We started with our invite list which was only 18 guests, mainly family & a couple of friends. We chose the central park for our venue, it was an easy choice because of it's beautiful gazebo surrounded by a flower garden; not to mention it was extremely affordable. Our reception is where we just got lucky. We happen to live in a gated community that has an event pavillion where we don't have to pay a dime, it was free! Maybe check out something like that for yourself. I know our place here allows other guests to use the facility not just residents. The food is of course, diy. We've decided to prepare & serve bbq brisket with all the fixings, including the cake. It's half the price of ordering from a catering service. As far as decor we used the same ones from the gazebo at the reception hall. We only purchased from places like the dollar stores or Big Lots. I am currently looking for the attire. I need a dress & 2 suits. This is also the most expensive part of the budget, besides the food. For less than $240 we need to purchase all our attire. My idea is second-hand. So far I'm under our budget & the budget is $500. All is well with our souls.

I hope this helps someone
